Returns & withdrawal

Would you like to return or withdraw an order at Angling Escapes? Most products have a statutory cooling-off period of 14 days. An exception applies to perishable products such as our boilies and fresh bait; you can read about that below. You can withdraw directly using the online withdrawal form. You will find the full terms in our general terms and conditions.

Boilies, fresh feed and bait: no returns

Boilies and fresh or chilled bait have a limited shelf life and spoil quickly. Under Article 6:230p of the Dutch Civil Code (part e), these products fall outside the right of withdrawal, even if the packaging is unopened. We therefore cannot take them back.

14-day cooling-off period for other products

For non-perishable products such as tackle and accessories, you may cancel the order within 14 days of receipt, without giving a reason. Report this within that period using the withdrawal form below or by e-mail to support@anglingescapes.nl.

Returning and refund

After your notification, you have another 14 days to return the product. Send it back unused and, as far as reasonably possible, in the original packaging. As soon as we have received the return shipment or proof thereof, we will refund the full purchase amount within 14 days, including the original shipping costs.

Exceptions to the right of withdrawal

You cannot return these products:

• Perishable products and products with a limited shelf life (boilies, fresh feed, bait), even unopened.
• Sealed products whose seal has been broken after delivery and which cannot be returned for hygienic reasons.
• Products made to measure or according to your specific wishes.

Return costs

The costs of returning are for your account, unless we expressly indicate otherwise or the product is defective.

Quality complaint?

Do you have a valid complaint about the quality within 14 days of receipt? Then, at our discretion, we offer a replacement product of comparable value. We only offer a refund if replacement is not reasonably possible. This goodwill arrangement is separate from your statutory rights.
